Privacy and Google user data
Control Room is Ascensore's multi-brand operations workspace. This notice explains what data the service uses, with particular detail about optional Google Calendar, Google Tasks, and Gmail connections.
Last updated: 2 September 2026Who operates Control Room
Control Room is operated by Ascensore Media. Questions, privacy requests, and Google integration support can be sent to info@ascensore.media.
Data we process
Account and workspace
Your account identity, profile, workspace membership, permissions, and the records you create in Control Room, such as projects, contacts, deals, tasks, files, and comments.
Calendar and Tasks
With your explicit consent, Control Room reads your writable calendar list and free/busy availability, creates and updates private busy events, and creates and updates Google Tasks linked to your assigned work.
Gmail
If you separately connect Gmail, Control Room reads messages exchanged with known CRM contacts. It stores bounded plain-text message details for the CRM timeline and does not store attachments or messages unrelated to those contacts.
Connection metadata
We keep your Google account identifier and email, granted scopes, synchronization status, linked Google item identifiers, and an encrypted OAuth refresh token. Short-lived access tokens are generated only when needed.
How we use Google data
Google user data is used only to provide the feature you choose to connect:
- find available working-time slots without exposing calendar details to teammates;
- create and keep a Google Task and private Calendar event in sync with your Control Room task;
- show relevant read-only email history alongside matching CRM records when Gmail is connected;
- maintain connection health, resolve synchronization conflicts, and prevent duplicate items.
Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Control Room's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage, sharing, and security
Workspace data is stored in Control Room's dedicated Supabase project. Integration secrets are server-only, and Google refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Access is limited by authenticated workspace membership, role, brand, and function grants.
We do not disclose Google user data to third parties except infrastructure providers that process it to operate Control Room, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law. We do not expose Google tokens, calendar details, or email content in product analytics.
Your controls and retention
- You choose whether to connect Calendar/Tasks and Gmail through separate consent flows.
- You can disconnect either integration from Control Room at any time.
- Disconnecting revokes the credential and removes its encrypted token from Control Room.
- Calendar events and Google Tasks already created remain in your Google account until you remove them.
- Synced Gmail history can be deleted separately from Control Room Settings.
You can also revoke Control Room from your Google Account permissions. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact info@ascensore.media.
